Rothwell Group Ltd were commissioned by Network Rail to undertake the works to the Grade 2 Listed building. To provide a supervisors office and welfare building for Network Rail south operatives.

We were responsible for the procurement, installation, connection, testing and commissioning, setting to works of the whole of the electrical installation, mechanical Installation and building works as detailed below:

The works included:
Strip out of existing building
Install new structural steel work
Installation of bespoke spiral staircase
Installation of new thermal installation insulation throughout the building
New shower block and drying rooms
New hot desk facility to the ground floor
Installation of new ceilings and flooring to first floor area
Installation of partitions for new offices and welfare facility’s on the first floor
Installation of new K rated windows to the whole building
Decoration to all areas
This was supplemented by a full inhouse turnkey M&E package to include the following:
Removal of the existing electrical installation and disposal of all items
Installation of an CCTV external installation
New mains supply to the building
New mains distribution and containment
New lighting and emergency lighting installation including lighting controls
New small power and equipment supplies including DDA items and supplies to mechanical plant
New External lighting
Provision of containment for the IT installation
New fire detection and alarm system installation
New access control installation
Earthing and bonding.
New lightning protection installation
HVAC
Air Conditioning
New Boiler Installation for new central heating system
